Project

The Cenal power plant in Turkey is designed to discharge heated effluent in the Black Sea. The diffuser of the sea outfall was designed to discharge a flow of 112m³/s.

Different diffuser configurations were proposed and numerous outfall configurations were to be analyzed in order to optimize the diffuser and to perform the conceptual outfall design.

Assignment

• Hydraulic design analysis of the marine pipeline and diffuser arrangements and diffuser optimization;
• Conceptual sea outfall design.
